What’s included

The VW Transporter (SWB) gives you roughly 2,570mm of cargo length and 1,170mm between the wheel arches. The LWB adds another 400mm. It’s a tight footprint, but the Transporter’s low floor height and square cargo area make it one of the best platforms for a compact van conversion.

Our Transporter builds focus on efficient use of space. A typical setup includes a rear sleeping platform that folds or lifts to access storage underneath, a compact kitchen module on the passenger side with a single-burner stove and sink, and a 12V system with a dual-battery setup or lithium upgrade. We design around the rear barn doors or tailgate depending on your model.

Ventilation, insulation, and interior lining are available as part of the build. We use closed-cell foam and premium lining materials that look good and manage condensation properly.

Why the Transporter

The Transporter is the most popular van conversion platform in Australia for good reason. It drives like a car, fits in a standard parking spot, and has a huge aftermarket parts ecosystem. The T5 and T6 share the same basic dimensions, so our builds work across both generations.

It’s the ideal van if you want something that works as a daily driver during the week and converts for trips on the weekend. Our builds are designed to be functional without feeling cramped, and the plywood finish gives it a premium feel that plastic or aluminium builds just can’t match.
